Living room w/dish network, kitchenette with cooktop, microwave, refrigerator, washer/dryer, coffee maker, & countertop oven. Plenty of private parking. A non-pet room. see spaces 9,10,11,& 12 for pet stays.

Enjoy this top notch newly remodeled Colorado Property, beautifully decorated with original artwork and photography by Colorado artists, walking distance from downtown and local events. This beautiful little town features one of the grandest views of the Rocky Mountains and the Sangre de Christo range you will find, true dark skies for star gazing, a plethora of summer and fall activities, and much more within just an hour of town. There are dozens of high altitude lakes to hike, mountain bike trails galore, horse back riding, shopping, and great food... as well as peace and quiet when desired. We are just 45 minutes from white water rafting companies, the town of Salida, two hours from the sand dunes, and for winter skiing an hour and a half from Monarch Ski area. Surrounded by ranches, local small farms, and strong Amish / Mennonite communities there is a wonderful blend of lifestyles.
This property is so special and unique as it is was once built as a rec house and lodge for the ski area once proposed on the mountain side. Although that never came to fruition, this neat building was built and spent a few decades changing identities, always giving hospitality to visitors. We have now been able to create four different and spacious guest spaces in a quiet and dark residential area, each with a very unique feeling to them.
The town is perfect, close to everything a Colorado enthusiast and lover of outdoors would want to be close to, convenient to get to, and yet just far enough away from the overcrowding, which is taking over much of the rest of the state, away from here.

Summary: Spacious place! Loved having coffee outside every day. Everything inside was comfortable and clean. They outside could have been swept. It would be nice if there was a bin for the cushions as they were getting dirty and wet from rain. There is no easy way to clean glassware. Paper plates provided were a must. Besides the toaster - microwave and grill there is no cooking. And again no way to clean dishes besides a bathroom sink. All said we would definitely stay again

Summary: Exceptionally clean, well stocked, large bathroom with both soak tub and separate shower, very large and well appointed bedroom, seperate TV room. Smart TV was great. Very quiet area close to downtown. Great facility for the price. Property owner lives on site and is immediately available to help renters. Bianca is a great hostess!
