Positive: This is an excellent guesthouse. Very relaxed and comfortable, with super friendly staff. They provide a good breakfast included in the price and optional dinner at reasonable cost. Ranil's wife is a great cook. Ranil is helpful in every way and his dog Lola is so cute. The place is a short tuk tuk ride to Galle Fort. Also Ranil can advise on nearby sights...safari etc. He organised my driver back to Colombo and a canemaking workshop which was an amazing experience. Everything is clean and tidy and the vibe is cosy. I will stay there again.

Positive: Ranil and his family were really special and did everything to make our stay wonderful. Breakfast was very good as were our other meals. The room and bed was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the shower was excellent. The room was serviced regularly and fresh towels and bedding were on hand. Our balcony was large and comfortable with a 'jungle' view, monkeys included! The beach was huge and uncrowded with some delightful bar restaurants. So good we're going again.

Negative: Main road a bit noisy. Whilst the beach was lovely the sea was not suitable for swimming, current too strong but there were good swimming beaches nearby.

Positive: A very clean place, with a lovely and special family who took care of everything we needed and beyond. We enjoyed the room, the pool, and the breakfast. It’s a small and intimate place. The breakfast was varied.The family room included two bedrooms, a small living area, and bathroom. The view is wonderful, and there is a large accessible balcony on the floor that belongs to the room.The family room was on the upper floor. You need to climb stairs to reach it. For us, it wasn’t a problem, even though we were with two small children.

Positive: Amazing stay! Ranil was super kind and helpful, recommending a fantastic restaurant called Bara and giving us great tips to get around the city. The room was modern, spacious and very comfortable, with a terrace and pool view. Breakfasts were delicious, the pool was spotless, and we had so much fun playing with their adorable little dog. 100% recommended!
