Positive: Comfortable room, good little kitchenette, overall satisfactorily clean and well presented main building/entrance. Additional kitchen available in the main building if needed.

Negative: Recent cleaning was satisfactory. Overall, the room felt like it needed a deep clean. The main issue were the two blinds were dirty with what could have been mould. The ceiling in the bathroom also looked like it has mould infestation, which I understand is difficult in an enclosed space with no natural ventilation. There was also mould at about head height on the wall tiles above the toilet. It is difficult for a room to feel clean no matter how good the recent surface cleans have been when there is a need for deep cleaning and the blinds are dirty. Similarly with some of the draws in the kitchenette could use a deeper clean after each guest. The shower head would not stay in place, fortunately there is a rain shower head too. Occasionally the hot water took a while to come through, on the second night I though I was not going to be able to have a hot shower, but in time the water became hot.

Summary: Great location, comfortable stay. Needs thorough cleaning to score higher rating.

Positive: Great value for money, great location, overall quite clean and comfortable.

Negative: There’s really no noise isolation. I was in a room right next to the bathrooms and near the kitchen and could hear anything happening in either which wasn’t ideal when trying to sleep in. If you are noise sensitive I would recommend earplugs
