Positive: The staff were incredibly helpful particularly getting us to the airport during a strike by taxi companies. The overall facilities of the hotel were a little tired looking but comfortable

Positive: Staff are welcoming helpful and cooperative Though no much varieties there but you find the essentials of breakfast in terms of eggs , cheese, croissant and a set different cakes . Do try the Capuchino, it is excellent .

Negative: The swimming pool was not open during our stay as it will open in June.

Positive: It was not in the chaotic center of town.

Negative: Getting to the sites like Pompeii and Herculaneum were fine if you have a car. But getting into town involved expensive cab rides. No restaurants in walking distance. Our room was cruddy and unrepaired cracks from the daily earthquakes. Peeling paint. Substandard cleaning. A 3-star hotel at best. We were moved to a better room for our last night there. Still cruddy and smelly. Breakfast was a huge array of pastries. Nothing hot - unless the surley waiter remembered to bring to some hot bread. Hard to imagine, but the cappuccinos were bitter.

Summary: I would not stay there again.

Positive: The staff made our stay unforgettable. They are kind, helpful and go extra miles to please our every needs. We ate 2 times in the hotel restaurant and it was excellent too.

Negative: Average breakfast with cold cuts kept out of the fridge. There was no bread or milk, and the croissants were burnt. The pool closed at six or seven which for us was a downside during the summer when the day lasts longer.
