Positive: The property has been refurbished to a very high standard and is completely within character stone flags and underfloor heating.

Negative: Not something that can really be solved the road leading up to the farm where concreted is quite good but there are a couple of extremely sharp uphill turns on a narrow lane with drops. Not a drive for the nervous.

Positive: We did our own breakfasts, though there was some food given to us by our hosts. The views from the property were truly magnificent. We even had breakfast al fresco on Saturday morning due to the mild November weather, which was a real treat given the stunning views. Our hosts were very kind and helpful including picking us up Saturday night after a wedding reception.

Negative: The drive up the hill is very difficult without a 4 wheel drive vehicle. This compromised our ability to pop out 'as and when' to various localities as my car is two wheel drive only. I managed to get up and down twice on the Friday we arrived, but was concerned about damaging the car during the climb. So after that we planned to go out once only each day and walk up and down the hill. We could park the car on the A road at the bottom of the hill overnight without any problems. Otherwise everything else about the stay was first class.

Summary: First class if you enjoy beatiful views, walking, and possess a 4 wheel drive vehicle.
