Positive: The owners, Lilibeth and Cristano are very engaged and help you with anything you might need. Breakfast is good and in the evening Lilibeth will cook for you for a small amount. The location is beautiful and ideal to discover Portobelo (a short and cheap taxi ride away) and come back to the quiet of the rainforest, except for the exotic bird sounds.

Negative: Your own balcony is lovely with nice chairs, pillows and a table. They could improve the breakfast area a bit, make it more attractive. Still, I highly appreciated that they tie bananas to the trees, so the Toucans and other birds come right to that terrace. So, just a suggestion, not really anything negative.

Positive: Nice getaway in nature. But very cheap to get into portobello via taxi which they connected me to and used to get around. The owner and staff were also very nice and friendly.

Positive: This accommodation is "in the middle of nowhere", but closeby by car to Portobelo and Puerto Lindo where you can take boats to the nearby islands. The scenery in the middle of the forest is beautiful and the pool very nice. They have a nice and friendly dog.

Negative: You have to order the meals: chicken and rice was 7,50 USD and breakfast (eggs and corn pancakes) 3,75 USD. I asked for coffee with milk, because I thought it was included and it was charged as an extra. No wi-fi. We were the only guests and the property managers were 2 teenage kids, which felt a bit "amateur".

Positive: The room was spacious, clean and well maintained. The owner can prepare tasty foods and drinks according to request. There is a swimming pool I didn't use, but the biggest + is that the owner can arrange trips for you which are priced cheaper than you find on official tour sites.

Negative: Lots of mosquitos by the nearby river during the rainy season.

Positive: Really big room and really quiet at night. Staff was really friendly and spoke English which is a big plus here.
