Positive: It was really close to the main street and it was a nice place to stay.

Negative: Well the facilities are old starting from the door knob, the sink of the shower would also clog and the shower dorsnt have curtain or at least the sliding door is no longer there. Also, I understand that they only have a bar but i guess it would also be nice if they share some meals.

Summary: It was a decent stay.

Positive: It was neat, bed was comfortable, the staff Ai was very helpful and pleasant

Negative: We booked a budget double room, but we expected atleast a hanger or hooks to hang our clothes We already did not have any cupboard or any place to keep our luggage

Positive: The room was large, bright, and spacious with a comfortable bed. There's a little workstation as well for working on a laptop, though this is mitigated somewhat by a weak WiFi signal. The bathroom was also large and clean. The owner of the property was very friendly and personable, and he speaks English well so I learnt a lot about Laos by talking with him, though he only comes to the property 2-3 times a week.

Negative: The floor was somewhat dusty with hair from a previous guest when I checked in, so I needed to borrow a broom a sweep it myself. I got the room downstairs whereas the router was upstairs, so I couldn't really get a good WiFi signal in my room and had to go out to the reception area to use my phone/laptop. The employee manning the reception doesn't speak English so I had a lot of trouble communicating my requests.

Summary: New guesthouse with some teething issues, but overall good value for money

Positive: Location perfect.river, shopping, restaurant everywhere. The sheets and pillows on bed were super soft. Upgraded to room when requested. No issues.
