Positive: Beautiful place, very remote (especially in Winter), the onsen and the hiking tours are amazing. The room and common room are super comfy. The staff goes above and beyond to assist with everything.

Negative: There was nothing I didnt like. Two important things to know; 1. Bring your own food in winter (you can also buy some things there, but Restaurants are almost all closed) 2. Check public Transport before you go there, it is quite remote

Positive: The two indoor onsens and the outdoor onsen were absolutely amazing. You simply reserve a time slot and can enjoy the onsens privately. Breakfast was simple yet delicious with fresh bagels and jam. Free coffee beans are available, so you can make your own coffee or tea anytime. The kitchen area is spacious, cozy, and very clean. The living room is also warm and inviting especially lovely when watching the fire and enjoying a conversation with good company. Also, the staff were wonderfully kind and attentive doing their best to accommodate our needs, helping us with transportation, and making sure we could enjoy the activities we were interested in. Definitely would love to come back!
