Negative: during the weekend there was very loud music from neighbours, 3 sources of ecuadorian very loud music host very friendly but sometimes need to ask him to be quiet at evening location is not far but if you stay for longer time better find something closer to the beach walls are made from paper so you can hear everything what is going on outside

Positive: What did I like? Vanessa, the hostess. Intelligent, organized, conscientious, kind, thoughtful, very familiar with the area and has many local resources. She arranged a guide for an unforgettable nature hike. If you're there for the surf, Vanessa is a surfer. Even if you choose not to stay here be certain to visit her breakfast cafe. She prepares an excellent flavorful selection of juices, 8am to 10am. You won't regret it.

Positive: We stayed at Raices Mompiche three nights in the end of December. The room was big and there would have been space for two more people. The outdoor area of the hostel was lovely decorated and the kitchen was well equipped. We liked a lot that the hostel had some environmentally friendly rules for instance avoid using plastics or at least to separate waste. It was nice that breakfast was offered.
Negative: The shower was a bit tiny for tall people.
