Positive: This place is really beautiful, the owner gave us a free upgraded room with a nicer view and a wonderful spot to hangout and read, do yoga or just relax. The rooms are clean and the family dinners offered are very tasty! The owner also offers a motorbike rental at the place!

Negative: The only downside is you need a car or motorbike to access anything in the area so come prepared with that!

Positive: First is an amazing host! Very welcoming and truly attentive, always present and caring. He offers traditional Thai dinners in the evening, cooked by his mother - everything is delicious and different every night. There’s also a nice selection of beers and wines.The breakfasts are just as good, with a choice between American or Thai style. The place is peaceful, surrounded by nature and calm. We were lucky enough to stay in one of the bungalows, which gave us our own private space - a very nice upgrade! You can enjoy the swimming pool and a magnificent sunset over the hills. It’s also very well located if you want to explore the region (Mae Salong, the Golden Triangle, the Opium Museum, Doi Tung), and it’s not far from Chiang Rai. Thank you to First and his team!

Positive: Stayed here and absolutely loved it. One of the most beautiful, peaceful places we’ve ever been — stunning views, an old Thai house beautifully restored, and walking barefoot on the 200-year-old teak floors was amazing. The lush garden and pool are perfect for relaxing, and the surroundings with the lakes are just breathtaking. And the homemade food… honestly the most delicious meal we’ve ever had. The owner was incredibly helpful and friendly, and he completely pampered us throughout our visit Highly recommended!

Positive: This part of Chiang Rai doesn't get many tourists, but that doesn't mean it's not worth visiting, and this homestay is a great base. Loved the beautiful gardens and pool area. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Most of all, what really stood out for me was the attentiveness of the staff. During my stay, the restaurant was not open, which could have been a real problem. But receptionist Bom drove me out to a good local eatery to make sure I didn't go hungry. I also very much enjoyed the company of permanent resident Mark. Always good-humoured and helpful, Mark was generous with sharing tips and directions and background on local customs. I definitely hope to repeat the experience.

Negative: Minor points for improvement would be better signposting from the main road, and maybe a few more chairs and tables around to enjoy those amazing views from your room.

Positive: Very classic Thai houses. The woodworks and cabin are beautiful. The atmosphere is lovely. The pool was surrounded by trees and plantation, made it so peaceful and serenity.

Positive: This place is a veritable paradise, so much so that we completely lost track of time at the pool and ended up checking out late. No one was rushing us out or reminding us, just letting us relax and no charge for the late check out. We went during their low season so they kindly and without prompting upgraded our family to their lovely Thai style wood house villa where we enjoyed the cool country air as we drank and ate with old friends. I am looking forward to staying here on our next trip.
