Summary: My stay with my sister in law was an overall enjoyable experience. Our initial room had some HVAC issues and we were quickly relocated to an alternate room on a lower floor. The second room was more comfortable but with a less desirable view and some maintenance issues in the bathroom including a tattered shower curtain and a slow draining sink. After notifying the front desk about the issues without a resolution we just chose to bear with it for the rest of our stay. The breakfast was delicious and the pool/jacuzzi made up for any dissatisfaction. The staff was so pleasant and accommodating and the gym was top of the line. The daily cleaning service was thorough and efficient. I would still choose to stay here again dispite the unpleasantries in the beginning.

Summary: Always a good stay at Radisson SJO. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The location is a good launching point to go touring. Lot's of parking, beds are nice, food is good.

Summary: Scarlett at the reception desk made us feel so welcome!!! She gives top notch service & really connected with us. Manuel in the restaurant was phenomenal as well. Great staff & all seem so happy. Even the sweet cleaning lady Yessinia!!! The property was great for our 3 year old & we were so comfortable for our 2 night stay. Exceeded our expectations & will highly suggest for SJ stays.

Summary: We had asked for an accessible room but this wasn't noted on arrival though we were offered an accessible room if we were prepared to wait. As our adult daughter was having surgery the next day, we waited for it. As a silver Hotels member, we did not get our 10$ discount off food or drink. The room was large, comfortable but noisy and smelt a bit musty. From inconsiderate guests leaving in the early hours to staff wheeling noisy trolleys and even from noise from the reception area. We used both the restaurant (where there was an excellent vocalist) and bar. Food was generous and of a high standard. Staff were friendly and accommodating. We were surprised that the bar closed so early for an international hotel. The pool was small but adequate but what let it down was the amount of available sunbeds (needed more) and their poor condition. Many were broken or saggy. It was nice to have a pool bar available and although we did not use it, there was a gym and spa. The hotel felt a bit 'tired' and perhaps needs a refresh. It was busy for conferences and for a meeting place for groups with G Adventures and National Geographic.
