Summary: We stayed here for one night and chose the hotel because of its proximity to parkrun and also as we needed to head north on Saturday and wanted to avoid the centre of Oslo. Our room was fine but a few things let the hotel down. The service in the bar/restaurant was poor and the waiter was unwelcoming. There were a few big coach groups in so the non-group people were left waiting for ages and tables weren’t cleared in the bar - one couple were told they couldn’t use the table by the window rather than clean it! The charges for parking seem excessive but we were told that this was ‘normal’ for Oslo. Our room was available early but there was also a charge for this. We only wanted to drop our bags in the room before going into the city on public transport so we declined to pay extra - we left them in the car as we were already paying for parking!
