Positive: The breakfast was great - lots of variety fruit, bread, danishes ie croissants, ham, cheese etc. Slightly expensive compared to UK hotel but good for a four star Italian hotel. Very enjoyable. Some staff very hospitable.

Negative: Cappuccino coffee lovely tasting but I noticed their coffee is not drunk very hot, so if you like hot steaming coffee you might have been disappointed. It was fine for me.

Summary: The hotel is part of a true Italian experience not typical holiday destination for non Italians

Positive: Reception staff & Stefan in the bar were very friendly & excellent at their respective jobs . Very close to local train station Montepaone-Montauro

Negative: Some of the restaurant staff were quite abrupt & rude. The dinner we had was quite exxy, not worth 30€’s & not very good we ordered veal scallopini the veal was very tough & hard to cut & chew. Breakfast-They need a better toaster!

Summary: Nice hotel but not much to do in this area unless it’s the summer season & you want to swim & sunbake.

Positive: room's sound proofing, silent air conditioning system, big comfy bed.

Negative: Extremely expensive for the value offered. Buffet breakfast with reduced range of options and average quality. Half of staff was unfriendly or looking annoyed. The supplementary beds for kids were squeaky and unsteady.
