Positive: The lodge was really cosy with everything we needed. The setting, in the woods, was beautiful and peaceful. It was a short drive into Kyle or Plockton, but far enough to feel you were away from the crowds. The welcome basket was very useful and generous, and the WiFi was fine for most things, which was more than we expected.

Negative: Maybe a wee bit too much weather, but it was good to see things so green after such a dry summer on the east coast!

Positive: Peaceful location and spotlessly clean. Warm and cosy with everything available for a home from home stay.

Negative: Duvets on single beds adequate for children but not long/wide enough for adults. Doubles might be more appropriate when only adults visiting. Fortunately utilised a spare single which solved the issue. I am sure the hosts would have provided me with a double had I requested one so not complaining.

Summary: Really nice place to base yourself for attractions in surrounding area.

Positive: Everything that you needed in the property. Always appreciate when coffee & tea left but the added milk and biscuits was nice. Beautiful quiet location near to all the things we wanted to see.
