Positive: Beautiful hotel, plenty of amenities with a perfect size pool and stunning modern room. We arrived late in the evening and were accommodated by the reception staff who were very friendly and checked us in swiftly. Our room was beautiful, bed was extremely comfortable and the balcony was a good size, our room looked out onto the pool. Sun loungers were plentiful and there was always 2 free every day no matter what the time was, there is a calm and peaceful atmosphere and the pool was perfect, not too big and not tiny either. Light snacks provided in a poolside fridge throughout the day and inclusive drinks provided also by the pool bar. 3 meals a day are provided and the selection is plentiful, loads of mains to choose from with freshly cooked meat or fish always provided as the main attraction, salad selection, pastries and deserts are also provided, it was all very very good. Entertainment was provided in the evenings by various guests, sometimes a DJ and other times a cabaret or other singers. The location is spot on, a short walk over the salt marshes to the beach and the hotel is situated one road back from the main parade of shops and supermarkets, we were not at a loss of things to do at any point. Taxis plentiful and it is only a 3 minute drive into Morro Jable, although not much to do there it was still a nice outing with beautiful views.

Negative: Allergens are unfortunately not accommodated properly, there are allergen labels out on some of the food items however there is no-one to ask about the food items that don't have labels, you can try to ask kitchen staff but most of the time they are behind the counter and don't know the allergens. Having to translate into Spanish every time I wanted to ask was extremely frustrating, and there was what seemed to be a very lackadaisical attitude towards how important an allergy actually is. The allergen labels on food were also sometimes incorrect, upon asking staff what contained my allergens one woman who was very very helpful (only works the evening shift) told me multiple dishes that contained my allergen even though the label didn’t say so, this was careless and dangerous. This ended up with me eating a croquette that apparently had no allergens only to find out I had bitten straight into a pine nut, thankfully nothing bad came of it. Allergies are something that needs to be taken extremely seriously and not having someone to ask who speaks English and other languages as well as having incorrect allergen labels is dangerous, the attitude towards allergens I felt was very lazy, this MUST change or someone will end up dying. The only other thing I can think of is, given we arrived late they had prepared a 'cold dinner' for us, this unfortunately consisted of various foods and meat that had been left out for multiple hours at room temperature and gone warm (you cannot leave meat out at room temp for a long period of time that has been cooked, big food hygiene issue) as a result I didn’t eat it. Again a poor attitude towards food safety. Apart from those two points, there is nothing more that I felt was lacking with the hotel.

Summary: Almost perfect stay, relaxing and beautiful hotel.

Positive: Immaculately clean and well maintained hotel, beautifully decorated, not one tired or grubby area, it’s all lovely. Very responsive and efficient staff, our fridge wasn’t working and was replaced within 15 minutes, staff work very hard to do an excellent job. Varied range of excellent food and drinks, great range of activities available all day every day even in the winter season, and entertainment on every night even in winter. The hotel is in a wonderful location with absolutely amazing beach views, very close to local shops pharmacies and beach, but still peaceful- it was perfect. We had arranged in advance with the hotel to have rooms close together if possible and close to hotel amenities on a lower floor. They exceeded our expectations, rooms next to each other on the ground floor, very close to the restaurant and pool, which was exactly what we needed. The pool area is stunning, heated pool which meant it was a lovely temperature even though it is winter, and two hot tubs with incredible beach views. Plenty of sun beds and parasols available, several poolside showers, and the toilets by the pool were always very clean. Our party was aged 13-84 and we all loved the hotel and the place, and didn’t want to leave. We would definitely go back, and highly recommend the hotel and the place.

Negative: There is only one mirror, located in the bathroom, a mirror in the bedroom would be useful as when everyone is taking turns to have showers, the people who have already showered have no mirror to do hair and makeup, and even when there’s no one in the shower, the mirror in the bathroom is very steamy for a while so you can’t see in it. That is the only thing that would improve the hotel!

Summary: Fabulous hotel, fabulous location, highly recommend!

Positive: Amazing hotel, great staff, clean rooms, 3 min walk from beach, all in clusive drinks fabulous, food cooked very well, salads and desserts were the best out the food good selection on both. Amazing shower also. Fabulous parade of shops selling real deal designer gear for so much cheaper then England. Lovely tidy town. Hire a bird scooter about £15 for an hour parked by beach, can use for longer.

Negative: No al carte restaurant? If there was then need to be told where on arrival? Alot of things German, very old clientel. Which is not a bad thing but entertainment, pool side, music, games the whole vibe is very much for your nan & grandad. Should be given a map of hotel & local area on arrival. Main Meal choices not vast cooked well but boring.

Negative: -There was an old plastic kettle in the room. Apart from the fact that cooking in plastic is bad for your health it was not working properly (you had to hold the button constantly). - Little ants everywhere, but I guess that's an affliction of Fuertaventura already Also, the feeling of being in a retirement spa, due to the fact that more than 70-75% are pensioners :D but friendly. I wouldn't necessarily choose this place a second time because of my age (30 years old~)
