Positive: Breakfast had lots of variety and good quality. We would recommend the facility and go back next time in Regula.

Summary: Room was totally fine. The bonus was having a open air patio and inside lounge as common area.

Positive: The room was very nice, the bathroom was big, and the bed was comfortable.

Negative: It is very steep in the area and really cannot walk anywhere. We ate dinner before we checked in and then stayed in our room the rest of the night. Fortunately, the room was quite pleasant.

Positive: Location was nice, steep uphill climb but a nice view. It was very clean. Bed was nice, pantry was sufficient for a short stay, nice towels and big bathroom.

Negative: Whereas this is a decent accommodation, there is definitely a few things that can be improved or did not match our expectations. Based on the photos, it seems that there is a large common kitchen, one of the main reasons we booked this stay, because we wanted to cook for ourselves. However, when we arrived, we found it locked. When calling the owners and asking if we could use the kitchen, it was a cold and loud "no" with no explanation whatsoever. The kitchen seems to only be used when breakfast is served and locked the rest of the time. A waste of space and pictures should definitely not be posted as if you can actually use the space. The pantry in the room was fine, but only enough to prepare a sandwich or salad, nothing more. The room was also very dark, as the extra curtains did not open, so with the cold weather it was quite dark inside. The service was okay, it was unclear who was in charge as we saw more than four different people. Due to the language barrier, it was quite difficult to communicate, and the vibe was quite reserved and cold. Owners were only around during breakfast, otherwise you had to call. During our 4-night stay, we were not offered a change of towels or some additional toilet paper, we had to ask for that. This could definitely be solved by just having a closet with some additional towels and stuff that you can access as guest, so you do not have to call the owners for such things.

Positive: We had a very comfortable stay in this cozy accommodation, which is designed and operated with care for the smallest details. The room is spacious and the place is clean and tidy. The continental breakfast is excellent and satisfying. When weather allows, it is served in the balcony which has a soothing view. We were lucky to stay when the owners were present, and they passionately made sure we had everything we needed, and were happy for a conversation.
