Negative: Too many bed clothes- would prefer 1 duvet. I understand it is authentic but too many different blankets.

Positive: The host was very friendly and welcoming and keen to provided well for all our needs . The house and settings had its rustic charm and was in a quiet village but within easy reach of all amenities. The home made jam was excellent.

Negative: The kitchen needs to be better equipped with items for preparing food eg colander for salad washing or pasta draining, better larger pots and frying pan and fish slice for making meals, grater for cheese etc. There was every poor hot water in either the toilet or the kitchen, only passable in the shower. The main door was rather draughty and ill fitting so that the heating had to be kept on all day . It needs properly repair and better draught curtains which actually cover the door properly. There was no oven, but a combination microwave which is not always suitable. The apartment which we were given , the duplex, was not as in the picture which is shown in the publicity. It was a little disappointing, with no real view outside other than from the upstairs bedroom . It should be made clearer on the booking page which apartment one is choosing.

Negative: Old and dangerous equipment, specially in bathroom. No work services in kitchen to prepare food . Plenty of equipment but ancient electrical wiring made life tedious. I would not recommend this as a place to stay.
