Summary: Stunning historic property comprising a 16th century former convent and preserving rich architectural details. Lovely spacious room with a great shower and luxury linens and towels. The service in the hotel is first rate, including within the restaurant and poolside bar. Excellent food in the restaurant served impeccably by an obviously well trained staff. Location was perfect near the markets, cultural attractions such as the Centro Cultural Sto. Domingo.

Summary: The historical building has been beautifully restored respecting its profound past. Staff spoke english, very friendly and helpful. Only ate breakfast there at the restaurant which was good. Pool is wonderful surrounded by the lovely stone walls.

Summary: The hotel was amazing, so much history in those walls and lovely gardens. The staff was attentive and friendly. A special mention to Roberto at the front desk who's sense of humor and helpfulness was outstanding. The packets of chocolate every night was a special treat!
