Positive: De entree to the hotel is very grand and it easy to get to. The staff were very friendly. They were helpful and polite. The food in the restaurant is good.

Negative: Everywhere in the hotel (except from the restaurant and the entree) there are damp patches and some even dripping on the ceiling. Even in the rooms. They obviously have a big problem that needs to be fixed as the smell is not nice. Also the gym needs serious attention and the pool tiles to the back are extremely slippery when wet.

Summary: Grand hotel in potential but needs an update.

Positive: The staff was really friendly and helpful. We forgot one of our suitcases, but they went out of their way to send it to our next destination in Mexico. Which was fantastic. Also th beds were good and the lounge area spectacular.

Negative: Villahermosa is not so interesting by itself to visit, we needed it as your plane landed there late in the evening. But the hotel itself was a nice oasis of rest.
