Positive: Location, parking, good beds and pillows, nice and clean.

Negative: Just one thing which could be dangerous, there is no stairs hand rail. It is an open stairs with nothing there to stop you from falling. So not good for elderly people, or children. But to be honest not safe for any age. I really don’t know how this can pass any safety measures.

Positive: Manager was very concerned about our well being. We had the unfortunate timing of being there during storm Kristen when the Guadiana River level was rising and threatened to flood the access road to this property. The manager put our safety first and had to ask us to leave and find alternate accommodations for our stay in Mertola. We applaud her for her timely notice and her communications with booking.com to facilitate our refund.
