Positive: The staff were super kind and helpful. The surroundings are really peaceful and it's a great location for exploring Serra da Estrela. The breakfast was fantastic. The hotel was really cozy, had a kind of 80s ski lodge vibe that we really enjoyed. We felt very comfortable there. Our room was very large and comfy, the kitchen was well-equipped and we loved that there was a fireplace in the room itself. Comfy mattress. We loved that there was a heated indoor pool as well as the outdoor pool. Lots of cats to make friends with in the grounds!

Negative: I think the only thing we didn't like was that the bedding was many sheets/blankets instead of a duvet, which tend to move around in the night. But they provided lots of pillows, which is great!

Positive: The staff were the most amazing people and got out of their way to help me when my car broke down. I have never came across such a welcoming friendly hospitality, people that are genuinely empathic, generous, caring. The place itself is very clean, the experience is very cosy and authentic. I loved it!!
