Positive: Beautiful and peaceful location. The outside space was very pleasant, the room was clean and comfortable and the staff was wonderful. Breakfast and dinner were simple, but exceptional for the price.

Positive: Pet friendly. Staff were kind and tried their best. Beautiful location. Room was clean and warm.

Negative: Poor wifi which kept dropping despite staff resetting it. Indoor pool was not very warm and the showers by the pool were also tepid. Pool was also full of kids so hardly peaceful. The room was above the guest lounge which led to lots of noise at night - to be expected on new years eve but also a problem the following night. Shower in room wasn't great and the toilet broke. Very expensive for what is essentially a nice enough but basic hotel. Staff told me rates were "much higher" on booking.com than booking direct which I felt was unfair - understandable to be a little more to cover booking fees but i checked rates on the website and the difference was significant.
