Positive: Immaculately clean. Staff (especially Katia) were fabulous. Comfortable bed. Great shower. Good breakfast. The games room (billiards and darts) was fun.

Negative: The wifi (especially in the room) was not great. The room was FREEZING cold, even with the furnace turned all the way up. Luckily they had extra, very warm, blankets.

Summary: Fix the furnace and the wifi and it would be perfect.

Positive: Lovely quiet Quinta with pool. Plenty of off road parking for our motorcycles at the side. Good size room, very clean and comfortable with AC and extra pillows if required. A short walk into town with recommendations for restaurants. We tried one in Alijó and other guests tried the other. We both had great meals. There is a discount offered for the sister restaurant in Favaios but we didn’t try it. A simple breakfast with offer of scrambled eggs but no other Hot options. The baked goods were very nice

Negative: A small sign at the bottom of the road? - the satnav struggled a bit. The Quinta is opposite the youth hostel on the corner of Rua Joachim Rufino
