Summary: Spectacular view, restful stay.We had a wonderful few days with perfect weather, a fantastic view of Puget Sound and Mt Rainier, and a lot of relaxation - a perfect weekend after being in the bustle of Seattle during the week. We can see why some families return multiple times; we may too. Plan to get groceries, etc. in advance or on separate outings. The local convenience store a mile away has great sandwiches and basic supplies. Not far to the wineries of northern Bainbridge and the region. Plant lovers: you may want to research the specialty nursery nextdoor; it requires appointments. We enjoyed all the birds. I cleaned and refilled the hummingbird feeders too.

Summary: A great place for me and my family when we're visiting my sister in Indianola. Plenty of room for all, can bring our little doggo, and great facilities (kitchen, laundry) to make things easy on a multi-day stay.

Summary: This is the third time we've stayed at the Eagle House. It's spacious, peaceful and elegant. Our three generations bonded over walks, meals and just hanging out. Marvelous!

Summary: Quiet and incredibly peaceful. Outstanding exterior views both day and night, and an abundance of bird-watching. Home is spacious with many places to tuck oneself with a good book or a journal. The large windows overlooking the long slope of the backyard down to the Puget Sound are perfect to stand at with morning coffee.

Summary: setting out on deck is very relaxing

Summary: This house is simply amazing!! Overlooking the water, we had a fantastic time. It is spacious and fully loaded. It is private and has lots of room to roam around, coffee on the back deck, and a walk around the yard. We enjoyed Father’s Day brunch at the house and had some friends join us. We also brought our 10 lb dog. The house is easy to navigate to Poulsbo, Port Gamble, Fort Warden, and Port Townsend. If you are coming from SeaTac, we took the Bainbridge ferry over, with our rental car, and it’s about 20-25 minute drive to the house. Easy check in/out. Susan was fantastic! Thank you Alain and Susan, we had a fantastic stay and definitely will be back!

Summary: We enjoyed cozy mornings and evenings. Especially liked the big deck and the view of the water and, occasionally, Mt Rainier. The property manager was always available and responsive.

Summary: Great stay at the Eagle House. Almost everything about our stay was great. Knocking off one star for a couple of quibbles: the beds were not as comfortable as one might like (my daughter found her twin very hard and the master queen was a bit saggy and tended to slope toward the middle); and the HVAC - at least in the master bedroom - was really loud (though that is probably a winter-specific issue). That was offset by a lovely space with a spectacular view and a full range of amenities for cooking, laundry, etc. We will very likely return in the future!

Summary: We had an amazing time and can’t wait to come back and stay again! Susan the property manager was amazing and answered any and all questions we had.
Erika P. Oct 9, 2023 01:24:27 AM
Summary: This was our third time at this property. The view is just so gorgeous and the house fits our family perfectly. Enough room to spread out and enough room to come together. The caretaker Susan is great. We love the area with small towns, golf, and biking/hiking trails all an easy drive away.
