This is a very quiet ocean front cottage in the classic style. Beautiful sunsets combine with wild life create a magical paradise. Watch herds of elk from the comfort of your hot tub with hawks, eagles and many variety of sea birds sweep above the dunes.

Feel comfortable in a secure private gated community. Walk across the flat dunes and hit the beach for surfing, clam digging, and picnicking. If you have a dog, the large yard going all the way to the beach, makes for fun. Our Chinese Crested Winnie loves it!

This year we have added another TV in the master bedroom, a new wi fi system, and new patio table setup for those sunsets.

Spring and summer on the Oregon Coast is an especially beautiful time to enjoy the ocean and wild life. Some of the best weather of the year can be enjoyed.

Summary: It is 1/2 mile walk to the beach then down a sandy bank so be prepared to climb back up.

Summary: We had a terrific stay at Surf Pines and appreciated the great communication with the owner. The place is really well supplied and has everything you'd need for an enjoyable visit. We knew that coming in early March, we'd have brooding, rainy weather - but that was fine with us. The hot tub worked great, and along with plenty of oyster shooters - we just relaxed and enjoyed. The ocean is not visible from the house, but the path down to the surf is adjacent to the property and made for a perfect amble for our old Lab. Careful, though, prickers and thorns are in the yard and we kept an eye on Sophie's paws. Our first impression of the house was that a solid cleaning was needed. That was a disappointment, but everything worked well and we really enjoyed our springtime visit.
