Summary: Great welcome from Gerard. It was super hot so the pool was a welcome everyday. Most days we had it to ourselves. Cottage good location for walks into St Remy or day trips. Many thanks for a lovely stay

Summary: In Dutch there is a saying "leven als God in Frankrijk"; I try to translate this in English: "living like God in France". While staying a week in this wonderful place we experienced this. 😊 The host who lives next to the house was very helpful with everything. The location is on a perfect walking distance of the centre of the historical city and several other beautiful villages/cities are easy/fast accessible by car. A supermarket is very close & many fine restaurants are also in walking distance. Would recommend 10/10

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The accommodation was charming and comfortable and very well situated for getting around Provence. Gerard and his wife were very helpful with suggestions and directions which was so appreciated! We highly recommend this property!

Summary: This property exceeded our expectations. The house is well located for exploring Provence and Gerard's recommendations for visiting various towns and villages in the area were very helpful. St. Rémy is a lovely town with pretty streets filled with shops and restaurants and places of interest. Its a 10 minute walk from the house to the town. The house is well equipped, its an old converted stable and its thick walls keeps the high temperature at bay on a hot day and of course if you are feeling too hot you can always take a dip in the swimming pool. The garden is lovely and Gerard keeps it in pristine condition with spectacular solar lighting at night. The pool area is beautiful and the view of the Alpilles is breathtaking. The patio is an ideal setting for dining or just sitting relaxing with a glass of rosé from the region. Thanks to Gerard and Maryse for a wonderful stay in their guest house.

Summary: Tasteful and comfortable home away from home within walking distance of St. Remy de Province. We enjoyed our week immensely visiting Avignon, Chauvet cave and nearby villages. Gerard was a wonderful host keeping us in the loop around the many celebrations in the town for Patrimonial week in St. Remy. We would certainly return.

Summary: Gerard and Marie were really welcoming - driving to the local garage to meet us when we got a bit lost! I stayed with my teenage daughter and we had a wonderful time. The accommodation was spacious and had all mod cons (good wifi too). We made good use of the pool which has fantastic views. The property is set back from the main road (up a dead end road) so it was quiet and private. it took us 10 minutes to walk into the lovely town centre and there was a supermarket a similar distance away (with an amazing cheese counter!). St Remy itself is pedestrianised and very quaint. Interesting shops and lots of places to eat. Market on a Wednesday. Would visit again - it was great!
