One-story Tudor-style house. Spread out in this spacious 3250 sq. ft house. Perfect for 6 adults and 4 children.
It is nestled in the Rose Bowl hills just next to Pasadena. The backyard is serene and overlooks a ravine frequented by deer, hawks and other beautiful animals.
The spacious backyard is perfect for a socially-distance get-together. There is a complete grilling center complete with a grill and smoker. If you love to cook, we have a kitchen made in heaven. The kitchen is very spacious and designed for hanging out. Have a casual meal in the kitchen or in the formal dining room that seats up to 10. In the kitchen, there is a small table that converts to a poker/game table for 4-8.
The adjoining family room has a 120-inch screen with a projector and surround sound perfect for a family movie night. Close off the kids in this room with a PS4 and games while you close the doors and enjoy the kitchen, dining room or living room.
The main sleeping quarters are off to the side so that entertaining doesn't interfere with sleeping.
-Master - This has a master suite with a California King.
-1st bedroom - is spacious and has a very comfy queen bed. Open the curtains to see a beautiful secret garden. There is a full bath just outside.
-2nd bedroom - is ideal for the kids. Has a full bed and a pull-out twin underneath.
-3rd bedroom - this is located adjacent to the living room and has a daybed with a pull-out twin that converts to a king. Across from the 3rd bedroom is a full guest bath with a separate entrance.
- We also have a full bed that is a self-inflatable air mattress that can be used in almost any room.
Our house is rules are for a maximum of 6 adults and 4 children.
We are 1 mile from the Rose Bowl, Descanso Gardens, JPL and also spectacular hiking trails. Downtown Pasadena is 7 minutes away.
The maximum number of days for a rental is 29 days. Please do not inquire about discounted rates.

Summary: This was our second time at this property (and likely not our last). We had a group that included eight adults and two babies. There are no negatives. The property is beautiful, the house is beautiful as well and incredibly well equipped, and the hosts are very attentive without being intrusive. Just a terrific experience again. Highest recommendation by everyone on our group.

Summary: Our group comprised two grandparents, their three children and spouses, and two grandchildren (both 8 months old). The house and property were basically perfect. The house is spacious, comfortable, airy and well equipped. And the grounds, especially the backyard, were as nice as at any luxury resort. Sunlight with shade, green lawn, space, privacy and every creature comfort and toy imaginable (e.g., ping pong table, pool, TV, barbecue, smoker, fire pit). We spent the majority of our time outdoors and enjoyed it greatly. The hosts are terrific too, very attentive and responsive without ever feeling present. We give the experience the highest possible recommendation—all of us, from age 61 to early 30s to late 20s (to not yet a year). Top notch.

Summary: We were in town for a family wedding at Descanso Gardens. Location was perfect. The backyard was so beautiful and had something for everyone, Pool, hot tub, basketball hoop, fire pit, ping pong, yard games. The list goes on. We never wanted to leave.

Summary: We rented this property for the 4th of July weekend and it was one of the best vacation rentals we have ever stayed at. We had 3 families with 3 children ages 1,2, and 5 and it was perfect. The house was extremely spacious and there was a huge projection screen tv in the living room and also plenty of room for the kids to play. The backyard space was where we all spent most of our time. The grilling area had everything you needed to cook. There was also a separate refrigerator and ice make outside. It really did have everything you needed. The pool area was perfect for the kids as well. The green space in the backyard was well kept and great for hanging out or playing lawn games. The fire pit and hangout area were great and easy to use as well. The easy of use for the music and the lights and pool were great as they were all controlled by one single iPad. The neighborhood that this rental is in is extremely nice and we felt very safe staying here. Chris and Michelle were also great hosts and made everything great for us. They even went above and beyond by installing a mesh fence around the pool to protect the kids from falling into the pool. I would absolutely rent this house again. Perfect vacation!
