Summary: The room was nice and was spacious for a one bedroom. On arrival, there was no hot water. I informed reception and was told that the mains water had been turned off by the council and the water would be hot later in the evening. This did not happen and the following morning there was still no hot water. I understand that something like this may be beyond your control, but as someone who works in hospitality, I can see that you don’t have a procedure in place for unplanned events. I’m not impressed as I’d travelled for 11 hours and couldn’t have a hot shower either in the evening or following morning. For the price charged per night it’s not unreasonable to expect this.
