Positive: We liked everything. The apartment was modern and clean. The house has a dishwasher, boiler, coffee machine, and the fridge. The wi-fi worked perfectly. The apartment was warm even if we didn't turn the radiator on. Parking was great and safe.

Positive: The apartment is beautiful. Everything was new. The little garden was lovely to use and the owners were lovely and very helpful.

Negative: No criticisms at all. Lovely to be surrounded by the artwork of the owners. My tip would be to put in airco to keep things cooler in summer. Be aware that the apartment only has access via stairs but the place is really pretty and there is plenty of quiet sitting space in the garden and you can eat there if you take your breakfast downstairs. Nice!

Positive: Very friendly and welcoming hosts who took the time to show us the apartment and gave us great advice about activities in the region or places to try local food and wine. Very modern appartment with clean facilities. Kanzem is a rather idyllic place surrounded by many beautiful vineyards, yet close to larger cities (Trier, Saarburg and even Luxemburg).

Negative: Hard to find something we didn't like and wished to had the time to stay longer. Interesting to know: Our bed mattresses were on the softer side. Also, the village does not have tons of restaurants - but make sure to check out the Straussenwirtschaften Schaffenhausen and Mertes.
