Positive: Great location and peaceful , hosts live on site but didn’t bother us whilst staying which is a bonus , Garden is private and spacious ,

Negative: The garden was private ,although if you have a dog like ours that likes wandering then you will need to keep an eye out as the neighbouring fence is just a wire fence maybe 2-3ft , we had to sit in the garden whilst they were out there , Also you cannot venture out for a walk outside their property at night time as the village has no street lights whatsoever , you literally can’t see in front of you it’s dangerous , never have i ever seen anything like that before , The house and stay was great apart from what’s been mentioned , still had a good time ,

Positive: It was an amazing place to stay. Three mature ladies on annual away day, shopping, beautiful house and our own bedrooms. It was just fantastic.

Negative: There was honestly nothing we did not like.

Negative: Space looks smaller than photos, a lot of glass doors incl bedroom and shower that would not close properly- if you are staying with friends might be awkward. Two toilets not quite enough for the size of the property. Cleanliness of the cutlery/ kitchen utensils are questionable. Sign to the property could be more clear especially at night with no street lights. Not all external doors are lockable.

Positive: It's a beautiful house, everything was clean and well equipped and as it was in the photos. I stayed here the night before my wedding and it was perfect for that - spacious, pretty and everything we needed for a couple of nights. Our photographer found lots of spots to take some beautiful photos. Nice vibe and I was really glad I booked it, it was pretty perfect.

Negative: The small single bed in the study room wasn't the most comfy, but the guest in this room moved to another bed space we had spare and it wasn't a problem. The other beds were good. There was a little road noise on one side of the house but it didn't bother me too much, I got to sleep fine (the night before my wedding no less) and it was still quite peaceful.

Summary: Exactly what we wanted! Very pretty and clean.

Positive: Perfect size for our group of 6. Plenty of space and a good sized garden with furniture for sitting out. Off-road parking for 2/3 cars. Great instructions and good communication before our arrival. Easy access on arrival. Pretty well equipped and clean inside.

Negative: We very much enjoyed our 2 night stay. The following is intended to be helpful and honest feedback. Some difficulty in locking some of the doors eg dining area to garden and kitchen to utility room. Fully appreciate that it is an older property but it wasnt possible to properly shut some of the windows. Outside, some of the windows were quite dirty and there were a lot of cobwebs. That didn't stop us from enjoying our stay but the property could be really fabulous if the outside and garden could be tidied up a bit.
