Summary: The price is way too high for Tijuana. Similar hotels are half the price.

Summary: I was extremely disappointed with my stay at the Quartz Hotel in Tijuana, Mexico. I arrived on Saturday, September 12th, for a party being held at the hotel’s property. Since all of the party guests were staying at this hotel, I expected the experience to be welcoming and accommodating. Unfortunately, that was not the case. From the moment I arrived, the receptionist was unfriendly and unwelcoming. Later, I contacted the front desk because I needed an iron for my room and could not locate one. I was told that there were no irons available and was actually directed to go to a nearby store and purchase one myself. This was very disappointing for a hotel of this standard. What was even more frustrating was the treatment of guests in the hotel’s lounge/common area. Friends and family who were also staying at the hotel were repeatedly approached and told to go to their rooms rather than being allowed to socialize in the lounge area. We were constantly harassed about this, which made the overall experience uncomfortable and unwelcoming. I chose this hotel because the event was being held on the property and all of the party guests were staying there. Unfortunately, the hotel did not provide the level of hospitality or customer service I expected. I would not recommend the Quartz Hotel, and I definitely will not be staying here again. I hope Hotels.com takes this feedback seriously and considers how this hotel treats its guests.

Summary: The room was very clean and a good size. Because our room was near a busy street, our sleep was interrupted all night. It was very noisy. The bathroom and shower were very nice. The shampoo and conditioner provided seems watered down so bring your own. The staff was all very accommodating and helpful. No complaints with that. Also the complimentary breakfast had great options.

Summary: I booked this hotel because I had some dental procedures to get done in Tijuana and I was going to be there for several days. It was one of the best days I have ever had. The staff was lovely and accommodating. The room was beautiful and clean the amenities were wonderful 24 hour room service was fabulous. The food was great. I cannot say enough for this property and I can’t wait to come back and stay again. I would recommend this to anyone.
