Positive: Clean, quiet and comfortable room, easy on and off the highway...for us, it was adjacent to the home of relatives that we were visiting. The breakfast provided was as advertised, with both hot and healthy choices offered. The only downside was that the pool was closed, but it was not much of a downside at all for us given the purpose of our stay. We will happily stay again I'm sure.

Positive: Breakfast was great for what it was - definitely the best part of the stay. Location right off the highway was nice, and close to where we needed to be. Check-in was easy, even though they did not ask for any ID (they were supposed to).

Negative: Bed was uncomfortable, room felt a bit stuffy. Stains on the mattress cover. Cobwebs in the bathroom. Tiles cracking in bathroom, holes in grout creating pain points to avoid with bare feet. We stayed on the third floor, and as soon as we stepped out of the elevator, all we could smell was cigarette smoke. To their credit, the smell was gone the 2nd day when we arrived back at the hotel, but still not pleasant.

Summary: Suitable place to sleep, more comfortable than a couch. Not incredibly clean, and very dated.

Positive: Breakfast was great!!! The older lady who works there is extremely nice, beyond nice !!

Negative: Our toilet wouldn’t flush at times. Had to double flush. The swimming pool area was FREEZING!!! It was 66, blowing cold air. Spoke to the front desk and they said they could come look at it. They looked at it by the time we were leaving the pool.

Positive: I can't say I liked anything at the hotel other than it was clean.

Negative: The property is old and looks it. The building in general, the lobby, hallways, rooms and furniture are all old. I won't be returning. I can get a room (weeknights) for $99 at the newly renovated Ramada Inn just a few minutes further down the QEW. Every room looks out onto the water. I must say that management at your hotel does their best to keep everything clean. The staff was friendly. But it's the age. The hotel is too old for my liking.

Summary: I did not enjoy my time at the Quality Inn, Grimsby.
