Positive: It meets what we need overnight. We choose the place due to its proximity to I-80. The place is older but it meets our needs. I rate comfort 9, nothing major but because the bed is so high and could be a hazard if you have little ones. Overall, it is not a bad place.

Positive: The location was good, and the breakfast was better than expected at this price point. They had eggs, sausages, yogurt, waffles and other choices.

Negative: We were there 3 nights. There was no maid service. They didn’t enter our room. The basic is to get clean towels every day, but no trash emptying, no making the beds, no cleaning of the bathroom, etc. We saw the maids. They work very hard, there is just not enough of them. My socks were so dirty from walking on the carpet that we wore shoes/slippers the rest of the time. They need to steam clean the carpets. Also, they should sweep the pool area every so often. One more gross thing- at our entrance to the hotel there was an ashtray, full of rain water and cigarette butts. Never emptied for the 3 nights we were there.

Summary: Inexpensive, good breakfast, friendly staff, not so clean.

Positive: We were very pleased with the room. Ended up with an upgrade, so got a king suite. Very nice.

Negative: The breakfast are all pretty much the same at motels, but the eggs and sausage are not very good.
