Positive: It was right along our route, it was clean, comfortable, and staff was very friendly. They were even willing to accommodate an early check in for us so we could get out of the weather.

Negative: There is no elevator so you have to carry all your stuff up the stairs to the second floor and the “breakfast” leaves a lot to be desired, it was cereal and a make your own waffle maker.

Summary: Nice stay for the money but don’t plan on having a real breakfast.

Positive: The room was clean and the mattress was very comfortable. The 4 small pillows on the king bed were not satisfactory and they were finally replaced after a few requests to do so. They provided plenty of towels and washcloths. It provided a clean place to stay for two nights

Negative: The breakfast was just the basics. We ate breakfast both mornings at the local diner.

Positive: Because I knew from reviews that it was a continental breakfast, it was fine. Cereal, yogurt, fruit, juices and coffee (available free 24hrs) a pleasant breakfast room and a waffle maker. If you must have eggs and bacon etc, stop along the road. Each room I was in had a microwave and a coffee maker that weren't even listed in the ammenaties. Manager and desk staff were friendly. I was traveling to OBX and stayed here on my way there and home again. Location basically why I chose it.

Negative: I was "upgraded" to a "suite" on lower level that was very musty but I was so tired I just heated up my dinner and fell asleep. Second floor nicer.

Summary: Suited my needs. If needed, I'd return.
