Positive: Beds were clean and comfortable. Smaller rooms but doable for a weekend. Nice views but bring bug spray, many lake flies and mosquitoes. Hot tub and pool were great! Access to rooms and parking are very convenient.
Negative: WiFi didn’t work and those rebooting were not able to help. A bit frustrating. Breakfast is too generic for the price of room per night. Hard to have mostly dry goods and boiled eggs when staying more than one night. Coffee is not good at all if you’re a coffee lover.

Positive: The breakfast was fine and the location lovely. The front desk people are super friendly and helpful. Our room was cleaned (which doesn't always happen at all motels these days). We got a free upgrade, which we totally did not expect but loved! It was my husband's birthday (although I have no idea if they even knew that).
Negative: The Quality Inn is supposed to be a pet-free facility, which is clearly written in several places. A woman with three children came in with a puppy in her arms, which unfortunately made my husband (who has severe allergies) react with runny eyes and nose, so we had to leave. I'm sorry people don't obey the rules. I know it would be uncomfortable for the staff to have asked her to leave, but I'm thinking they should do that. I did tell them on our way out, so maybe they said something.
Summary: A beautiful location and a clean, truly lovely hotel at an excellent rate.

Positive: Next to the lake. It was an awesome view. Comfortable bed.
Negative: The complimentary breakfast options were limited. No bacon, no hot protein. Other than that its fine.

Positive: Beautiful view, clean, perfect location for the shuttle to pickup/drop off. Great price for the accommodations. Pool building was well kept, plenty of towels, rinse off area, and bathroom. It was separate from the rooms so it was a little awkward walking through the parking lot, but it was nostalgic like the older motels.
Negative: Room wasn't as big as I had hoped but it was sufficient. Not too many options for eating in that area but the local BC Pizza had awesome customer service when our order got mixed up.
Summary: Great spot to stay for an island day trip.
