Positive: Comfortable and well equipped. Convenient for local places of interest. Good shower.

Negative: We were told that there was on street, unrestricted parking but the road has double yellow lines which meant we had to park in a side street and carry cases. We managed but had we been warned, we would have prepared our packing differently. The bathroom sliding door is heavy to close. As 4 elderly sisters we were not too concerned about privacy and left it open but for some people it might be more of a problem. The bath room sink plug needs adjusting and one bedside light in the main bedroom does not work.

Summary: Great base for an economical weekend retreat with access to nature, the Ropery and the Geoge.

Negative: We wanted. Toddler bed but could not be arranged. This was not the host fault but could have been handy. Toddler slept perfectly though.

Positive: The cottage was nicely decorated throughout to a high standard and clean. The shower was powerful and easy to operate. The beds were very comfortable too. Due to a power cut caused by a storm, the WiFi did not work as expected. However, this issue was dealt with fairly promptly when raised with the owners.

Negative: Due to the location of the property, I did expect traffic noise and this did occur and disrupted our sleep. Ear plugs are definitely recommended. I would encourage the owners to invest in double glazing/sound proofing where possible to minimise the noise pollution in future. The bathroom sliding door was difficult to open/close.

Summary: Lovely cottage but a little noisy.

Positive: Nice house - clean, comfortable and facilities as described. Owner very responsive and a problem with the shower was fixed between our two stays. Close to centre of Barton so handy for shops, pubs, and take aways.

Negative: On the main road and not always easy to find parking close by during the day. Also, it is a bit noisy with large lorries frequently passing right by the front window.

Positive: I loved everything. The location was perfect. The home was modern, well maintained with decor. Facilities within property exceeded my expectations.Cleanliness was excellent. The host was attentive, interested in your comfort and excelled in looking after you as a guest. Check in and out was seamless with clear and concise instructions. Home from home, very classy. It was just amazingly perfect.

Negative: Nothing.
