Summary: Disappointing service that does not match the Pullman brand My family booked two rooms (2 adults and one 17-year-old) through Hotels.com, with payment upon arrival. After a very long and exhausting journey from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City, a delayed flight, and more than three hours in a taxi to Vung Tau, we arrived at the hotel expecting a professional and welcoming experience. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The reception staff was rude and unwelcoming. They initially prepared invoices for two rooms and assigned us rooms far apart, despite it being clear that we were one family. Only after we explicitly said that we would pay for both rooms together and requested rooms close to each other did they reconsider. We were also asked to pay extra for breakfast for our 17-year-old. According to Hotels.com, when two adults book one room, breakfast is included. This was not explained clearly in advance. The receptionist said they would discuss this with the manager, but no one followed up with us. We had to go back to the front desk ourselves, only to be told that nothing would change. The overall service level was poor, even compared to much more modest hotels. Breakfast was particularly disappointing and absolutely not worth the price of 530,000 VND per person. The quality and selection did not match the cost or the hotel’s claimed standard. The room itself was spacious but cleanliness was inconsistent. The sofa had visible stains and lamps covered in dust.

Summary: Drop of standard. (1) there is no table light for the writing table. (2) Upon check in, I said my ALL member trying to link for free wi-fi. Instead, was greeted that there is no piont as I booked with agent. The good thing I find is the restaurant service. Still very good and helpful.

Summary: Rooms were good. Breakfast had a large selection but some of the food was hit and miss. Fruits fresh and tasty. Made to order noodle soups delicious but some of the premade food that I tried was less good. There was what ended up being a false emergency alarm that woke me and my family at 6am. The alarm abruptly stopped after about 10-15 seconds but there was no explanation or a message from the hotel that it was a false alarm. As a result my parents in a different rooms were frantically scrambling to grab things to leave the hotel. Fortunately I confirmed the false alarm and stopped them before they left the hotel. Most other guests were left standing for over 10 minutes wondering if they should evacuate. This definitely could have been managed better.

Summary: The room is stuffy and seems like air conditioning is not functioning well. The weather outside is cooler than the hotel temperature. Nice hotel but not perhaps overly concern about electricity bills and neglected the guests. And they limit you to 2 bottles of water only and have to pay for water. Don’t think I would like to stay there again.
