Our house is located in Barrio San Jose Sur, a district of Atenas, located in the western part of the Central Valley, known as the place with the best climate in the world, in the province of Alajuela. It is a rural and quiet area, but with easy access to the center of the community and the capital of Costa Rica, one hour from San José and 40 minutes from Alajuela. One hour from some of the beaches of our country and 1 hour from some of the volcanoes. We have near the square to do sports, swimming pools, supermarkets, cinemas, shops, restaurants.
In our house live my husband (David) and I (Raquel), and our dog "Bruno" a playful beagle.
We have 2 rooms available, one with a single bed and the other with a double bed, a separate bathroom for both. Our house has a spacious and fresh living room and kitchen, we also have a patio full of trees, many of them fruit trees, a beautiful view to the mountains where the cool breeze runs. We live close to my parents and relatives so it is a healthy and safe environment.
We love spending time outdoors and go for a walk on the river or the woods and go for a walk with Bruno. We handle the basic English language.
The main rule of our house is to take care of Bruno who is the most spoiled. You can smoke outside the house and do not litter in the yard. For transportation, it is recommended to arrive at the house before 10pm. In the house there is always food in the refrigerator or in the cupboard, sometimes it must be prepared and most of the time just to heat and eat. We can not make noise after 11pm since we have neighbors nearby.
Temperatures in Atenas range from minimums of 17 ° to 19 ° C in January, to a maximum of 27 ° to 30 ° C in March. The average annual temperature is 25 ° C.

Nuestra casa se ubica en Barrio San Jose Sur, un distrito de Atenas, ubicado en el occidente del Valle Central, conocido como el lugar con el mejor clima del mundo, en la provincia de Alajuela. Es una zona rural y tranquila, pero con fácil acceso al centro de la comunidad y a la capital de Costa Rica, a una hora de San José y 40 minutos de Alajuela. A una hora de algunas de las playas de nuestro país y a 1 hora de algunos de los volcanes. Tenemos cerca la plaza para hacer deportes, piscinas, supermercados, cines, tiendas, restaurantes.
En nuestra casa vivimos mi esposo (David) y yo (Raquel), y nuestro perro "Bruno" un beagle juguetón.
Tenemos 2 cuartos disponibles, uno de ellos con cama individual y otro con una cama matrimonial, un baño independiente para ambos. Nuestra casa tiene una sala y cocina amplias y frescas, también tenemos un patio lleno de árboles, muchos de ellos frutales,una vista hermosa a las montañas donde corre la brisa fresca. Vivimos cerca de mis padres y familiares por lo que es un ambiente sano y seguro.
Nos encanta pasar tiempo al aire libre y salir a caminar por el río o los bosques e ir a pasear con Bruno. Manejamos el idioma inglés básico.
La regla principal de nuestra casa es cuidar a Bruno que es el más consentido. Se puede fumar en el exterior de la casa y no tirar basura en el patio. Por el transporte se recomienda llegar antes de las 10pm a la casa. En la casa siempre hay comida en el refrigerador o en la alacena, en ocasiones se debe preparar y la mayoría del tiempo solo de calentar y comer. No podemos hacer ruido después de las 11pm ya que tenemos vecinos cerca.
Las temperaturas en Atenas oscilan de mínimos de 17° a 19° C en enero, a máximo de 27° a 30° C en marzo. La temperatura promedio anual es de 25° C.
