The Knotty Escape is one of the most tranquil & secluded homes in the area. Big Creek borders the large park like back yard where the deer frequently roam. Step outside for a lovely nature walk or bike ride right from the property. **The swimming pool is heated (weather permitting) & available June thru September only** Please see final paragraph. Have a campfire, enjoy the unique swing, play some cornhole, or just relax by the creek & pond. The main floor of the home is an open design with a fully stocked kitchen & a comfortable area to read, watch TV or just unwind. Just the right size for 1 or 2 couples *The Knotty Escape* is a perfect getaway!
Things to note:
Please be aware that there are several taxidermy mounts that may not appeal to everyone. If this is a concern for you, this may not be a good fit for your stay.
Only registered guests are allowed on the property at anytime, without prior approval.
Maximum of 4 registered adult guests only. If only 2 guests are booked, the 2nd bedroom will be locked, unless prior arrangements have been made for both bedrooms to be available.
6 Arlo cameras are installed for the safety of our guests and security of the property. 2 driveway Cameras & 2 west facing cameras will remain on during your stay. For your privacy, cameras at the laundry & master suite exterior entrances will be deactivated after your arrival.
Please be assured your privacy & comfort are my top priority. If for any reason you feel uncomfortable, you may cover the camera(s) with a small towel or cloth.
For your convenience, the gate to enter the property will be locked “open” during your stay. To prevent damage to the electronic opener *do not try to close it * This listing has a strict no pet’s policy (please no ESA’s or animals of any kind due to allergies, wood floors & furnishings, & vinyl liner swimming pool) and is not suitable for children, toddlers, or mobile infants. No children under 12.
The private swimming pool will be available June thru September for guests of The Knotty Escape only. *No animals* whatsoever in or near the swimming pool area. The vinyl liner can be punctured by animal claws. It is expensive & time consuming to replace.
The electric heat pump works best in outdoor temperatures above 60 degrees. I will do my best to keep the water at a comfortable swimming temperature, however I cannot guarantee as it is dependent on the outside temperatures. Please follow posted pool signs. Please do not use the critter escape to exit as it is not meant for the weight of a person. Swim at your own risk and follow posted signs. Replace bubble cover when not in use to retain heat & keep debris out.

Summary: This property was the perfect selection for our trip to Mt. Rainier. We had everything we needed. Each day, after miles/hours of hiking, we would get right into the large hot tub to refresh our tired muscles. This location allowed for direct access to the SW park entrance and easy-drive access around to the SE entrance. We would recommend this property to anyone and would stay here again ourselves.

Summary: This cabin had everything we could ever need and more! Two hot tubs, a pool, creek access, a private yard for frisbee, a grill and firepit. Not to mention a fully stocked kitchen! The whole place was beautifully landscaped and decorated. Perfect part of our honeymoon.

Summary: We had the most wonderful stay here! This property is a slice of heaven. The property itself is serene and beautiful. The house was clean and fully stocked with anything we could have needed. We enjoyed a campfire and got an amazingly clear night to star gaze. The hot tub was perfect after a day at Mt. Rainier. We absolutely loved all the places to sit and relax around the property, the swing was my favorite. The rushing creek was a constant soundtrack to our stay. We will absolutely be coming back; in fact, we already booked another stay. Truly, the Knotty Escape is a little slice of heaven.
