Perched on a mountain ledge in the Pennsylvania Poconos, A Loft House on The Delaware, overlooks the Delaware River and is only a 90 mile drive from NYC. A Manhattan artist designed this one of a kind, luxurious home to resemble a Soho loft. Floor to ceiling windows of varying shapes provide breathtaking views on the first floor. The focal point in the great room/living room area is a majestic stone fireplace with a wood burning insert that provides hours of warmth on cold days. Perfect after a day of skiing at Big Bear Masthope which is only a 20 minute drive away.The spacious island kitchen is equipped with Viking gas range. Plenty of dimmer lights over the island counter and recessed lighting under cabinets and the large Island make cooking a joy especially since the Barryville NY, farmer’s market ( summer and fall )is just a 4 minute drive away. The kitchen opens to an outside deck and steps that lead down to the backyard and outdoor fireplace/grill.
On the second floor the ensuite master bathroom has an enclosed glass shower and huge two person soaking tub. A bevy of windows provide a treehouse effect and the location ensures total privacy. There are also two sleeping alcoves on the second floor. The master bedroom opens onto a deck which provides incredible views of the mountain cliffs that descend into the Delaware River. The first floor bedroom has an antique brass bunk twin beds, sleeper sofa, ensuite toilet, vanity and large tub which overlooks New York’s scenic byway and the Delaware River.

Summary: We stayed here in 2022 and were thrilled to stay for a month again. We love this property over the Delaware River. A great kitchen and grounds. It is just beautiful, spacious abd rustic at the same time. Renee is wonderful and very responsive. We love to just sit and be with the trees,the air,the quiet.

Summary: We had an amazing time! The pictures do not do this home justice. The home is absolutely stunning. The views outside are breathtaking. We were so relaxed the entire time. The soaking tub in the master was great. Cooking in the kitchen was a treat. Communication with the owner was easy and quick. I would not hesitate to come back!

Summary: The property is incredible! Each window has a different beautiful view of the Delaware River and the surrounding mountains. It is so peacefully secluded there. At night, the stars shine bright in the clear sky, and the only neighbors we saw the whole weekend were a pair of deer who came around to eat a couple times. Storms have made path down the mountain a little rough to navigate, but my (then) girlfriend, our dog, and I were able to navigate down the first couple series of steps to a picturesque clearing where we got engaged! This is a property that is now very special to my family, and we will absolutely return!!
