Positive: The property is situated in beautiful country. We took long walks on the dirt road and enjoyed hearing and watching the birds. The Little Laramie River, across the road, offered many views of wildlife.

Negative: The kitchen had flaking Teflon pans. These are carcinogenic. I wouldn’t expect these in a rental home. The biggest disappointment was the water, which had a bad odor that lessened as you ran the water. However, the yellowish-brown color was a constant. We chose to buy bottled water to use, as we had no idea of potability. In fact, a copy of this water testing should be available for renters. The water might be fine, but without testing, the water seems uncertain.

Summary: Beautiful country in an imperfect house.

Positive: We had a delightfully comfortable and cozy stay with 4 adults and 5 kids on our first family ski trip. The hosts are exceptional and have given the house a "homey" feel with old photos and board games, yet the kids still got to watch their Netflix movie. The space was perfect for our size of group. Additionally, the location was a definite plus with the gorgeous scenery of the mountains and rolling hills not to mention it is between Laramie and the ski area making it a great stay if you're headed for adventure or just need a beautiful place to relax! Hope to be back again!
