Relax in the secluded backyard beside the pool, or take a dip when you stay in our Southern Hideaway. This completely renovated guest suite is just 20 minutes from uptown Charlotte. The full basement has two bedrooms, full kitchen, 75” Smart TV, ping pong table and 1 1/2 bathrooms. Check yourself in the private back door for your relaxing stay! Mark and Robin live upstairs when in town, but you will have the entire spacious basement (1400 square feet) to yourself.
The space
The Guest Suite is spacious and private. You will have the entire basement to yourself with your own private entrance and a locked interior door that you control. There are 2 bedrooms with a full “Jack and Jill” bathroom that is accessible from both bedrooms, and a half bath for your convenience. The main area has a 75” TV, perfect for watching movies, a ping pong table and a dining table overlooking the pool and wooded area outside.

Summary: This location was amazing and honestly hated to leave. The pool, backyard and birds created a place to just chill. We used every amenity including the grill. Kitchen was so well stocked, thought was put into all of the supplies needed. We cooked in more than we ate out. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Hosts extremely responsive!

Summary: My family enjoyed staying here so much. The home is beautiful, comfortable and very clean. The neighborhood is quiet and pretty. Good restaurants are located nearby. We enjoyed a delightful afternoon at the pool. Although the water in the pool was cool, it was pleasant. The next door neighbor is friendly. We highly recommend this home.

Summary: This was a great place to stay! Very, very nice property. We were staying for a conference, 4 adults, and had more than enough room. The neighborhood is very quiet, 2 of us walked at 6am everyday and had no concerns whatsoever! We will definitely stay here again when we return to Matthews!

Summary: This was in a very nice neighborhood close to my son’s home in Matthews, NC. The place was very clean and had plenty of space. I would stay again and recommend to others.

Summary: The unit was beautiful. Nice neighborhood and perfect for our needs. You do need to be able to use stairs to access the unit it’s behind the house and there is a small pathway with stairs leading to the unit in the back and then about 7 steps up to the unit with a handrail. But that didn’t affect our stay at all. We were able to cook meals in the home and play the board games they provided and had a great time!

Summary: The VRBO was incredible! Check in was easy and the owner was so accommodating. I couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful place. We enjoyed sitting by the pool and dipping our feet in (too cold out for the whole body). It was immaculate, clean and had everything you needed in the kitchen to make elaborate meals. I highly recommend this place. It was beautiful, but the heart of the owner was even more beautiful.

Summary: Hosts are wonderful and very communicative. They even had a generator going when the power went out from the storm and provided a partial refund due to there not being hot water available for some time. They do things right. Definitely consider this for your next rental.
