This contemporary Southwestern-style home, designed by architect Mark Falcone, is decorated with tastefully chosen decor and art that echoes its spectacular desert location. The open-plan living area with high ceilings, walls of windows and skylights brings the light, peace and beauty of the desert all around, as you relax on the comfortable furnishings.
The open dining area's glass-top table has seating for six, or enjoy a casual meal for two at the kitchen island. The fully equipped kitchen has plenty of counter space for your culinary creations. Dine al fresco on food from the grill, on comfortable couch seating as the sun sets or walk across the street to the historic Palms Hotel for dining and cocktails. The contemporary pool is cleaned weekly and multiple patios include comfortable chaise lounges and umbrellas.

Summary: Villla is move in ready. Has everyting you would want or need for a longer stay. It's clean, peaceful, visualy stunning. Privacy fence gives feeling of seclusion, heated pool enhances your senses, and one feels peace and quiet of best days to come. Truly enjoyed our stay. Host was responsive, communication prompt. Summary: This is a lovely and tastefully-decorated villa on the edge of the Anza Borrega desert park, well-furnished and equipped, very quiet setting. The dry, cool air and strong sun make a stimulating ambience, and the views are stunning. The owners are very helpful.

Summary: This is our second stay at this property and it never fails to be absolutely perfect! The views of Indian Head are breathtaking! The house and property are like coming home! The host are very welcoming and excellent at communicating to make sure our needs were met! The soft towels and sheets truly make this feel like a home instead of just a rental property! The pool is pristine and well kept! Honestly I could write a chapter and verse about the incredible host how gracious they are in offering their home to be appreciated by those who stay there! Always our first choice when in Borrego!

Summary: A couple in their 60’s needing to get out of Orange County coastal home for the July 4th circus! Needed peace and quiet with a pool and view and the house and beautiful views delivered. Tranquil and serene. The pool was wonderful too and stars galore. The owner was very responsive and accommodating and property manager was extremely helpful. Already planning our next stay!

Summary: The experience as seen in the photos is accurate, but it’s much more than that. This setting is hard to put in words—you must see and feel it to put the quiet and beauty in context. We loved swimming in the gorgeous pool and lounging on the patio taking in the spectacular surroundings. The home & landscape speaks to attention to detail, cleanliness comfort and care—truly a top-tier Borrego Springs home worthy of an annual pilgrimage.

Summary: Don’t fall prey to the enticing photo of the patio and pool with a Mountain View. Apparently, the pool is often nonfunctional due to rodent issues. We chose to rent the property despite it’s somewhat isolated location envisioning hours of swimming and relaxation on the patio. The pool was ice cold upon our arrival despite having paid a daily pool heating fee in advance. The property manager tried to help but it became obvious that the owner was aware of the extensive damage to the pool wiring and pump and chose not to inform us in advance if our arrival. The main door opening from the living room to the patio is also nonfunctional. The owner did refund the pool heating fee and 10% of the weekly rental but It certainly did not make up for our disappointment. There are other equally beautiful and more affordable rentals available in the area without a pool. Don’t be fooled.

Summary: The home is simply but lovingly decorated with collections from the owners' family, in authentic Southwest style. The ambience is peaceful with comfortable furniture, walls of windows/doors so that one always feels close to the beauty of the natural world that surrounds: sky, mountains, desert plantings, in perfect privacy and silence. An added extra: the full moon rising on our first night as the sun went down over Indian Head .
