Summary: This was not our first visit to the Masters Cabin, and it was just as enjoyable this time. The cabin was spotless and very cozy. We enjoyed fishing for bass and watching the wildlife, including bison, axis and Fallow deer, ducks, turtles and more. The back porch is great for morning coffee and playing rummy, and we even fished from the porch. We will be back soon!

Summary: The property exceeded our expectations. Clean, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, plenty of good quality toilet paper, facial tissue and paper towels. We started and finished each day on the deck or patio watching fish, birds or the exotic animals on the property. We fished off of the deck and caught 3 bass. Variety of birds seen on the property. We were able to drive around the large property exploring and viewing the creek. The property manager was very responsive and pleasant. The location is convenient to Boerne and Bandera - visited Kreutzberg Canyon Natural Area, Joshua Springs Park and Preserve and recommend the Lil Schnitzel Haus in Bandera. We had a great time, recommended the property to my parents and would definitely come back.

Summary: The property was more than we expected in our host. Richard was very attentive professional and a pleasure to deal with. We would recommend this to anyone that wants to get away for a long weekend peaceful stay. The wildlife and fish were amazing and the ranch is beautiful.

Summary: My husband and I recently spent a delightful four days at the Masters Cabin. The cabin was spotless, and was furnished with everything we needed, including an extra full bathroom that was accessed from the outside for convenience. We especially enjoyed the back porch for fishing and beautiful views of the lake and wildlife. We will definitely be back soon!

Summary: My wife I only stayed a few days this time but it was great as usual. The ducks, bison and kudu’s were out and fun to watch. So peaceful and relaxing. Richard is the best host and always available.

Summary: This is at least the sixth time we have stayed here, it's our get-away from the city. It's so quiet and peaceful sitting on the porch. The interior is lovely, shabby chic, comfortable furniture. It's a true relaxing haven, but less than 10 minute drive from town. It's always a treat when the bison come close, and there are tons of deer at dusk. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset too. We always go out to eat at our favorite restaurants in town, so I can't speak to how well stocked the kitchen is (although the refrigerator had lots of basic condiments you would need). LOVE this place.
