Summary: The 9 of us stayed there for 3 nights comfortably. Prior to the trip, we looked for a property in Bacalar but after many searches, we decided to stay at Chetumal because of this property...and it didn't disappoint. Very clean and well air-conditioned. Private pool was clean and the deck has amazing view to the sea. They provide 2 complementary kayaks. The main entrace has automated steel door so it fet very safe. It's a bit far from the Bacalar Lakes (about an hour drive) but you can make it a day trip w/o much issue. I would definitely advise to rent a car as it is pretty far from everything else. ***** who was the coordinator and ********* who takes care of the property were very helpful and easy to communicate. I would definitely come back and also recommend it to others.

Summary: Casa Xchel provides a beautiful luxury home experience with modern amenities and comfort. Dips in the large pool day and night was a blast for entire family. Beds are super comfortable and AC works great. Home has a beautiful modern design with every comfort and amenity required for a short or long stay. Best of all, Christian (concierge) was a very helpful and a gentleman with every request.
