Our holiday house is situated on one of the most beautiful part of the province - Cape Breton Island,
The Bras d´Or Lake is a heart of the island. With the water area of 240km² is a holiday paradise. The gorgeous blockhouse available from May to October. Sleeps 2-4.
The house has 55 m². Living space, has 1 big eat-in kitchen, living room featuring fireplace. 2 bedrooms, as well as one bathroom with shower and WC,

Summary: Nice log cottage sitting on Diana Mountain with a nice view of Bras d’Or Lake. The night skys are fantastic. The cottage is secluded. It is about a 35 minute drive to the nearest store of any kind so if you want to get away from everything it is perfect. Stock up before you go. The cottage has high speed internet and good cell phone reception to keep you in touch with the outside world. If you are planning on taking in a lot of the sights of Cape Breton Island then plan on a lot of driving.

Summary: I wasn’t informed the bridge had washed out completely and the usual route road was closed. It was difficult to find the alternate route. I had to drive all the way back. Got directed by GPS wrong. Ended up on a dirt path 5 km in the bush with no way to turn around and only used for ATV damaged vehicle I later was told. After calling VRBO property owner called me from Toronto Airport and gave directions. She was on her return to Germany.

Summary: This Cottage is Beautiful and well stocked. Had a wonderful week and very reasonable price. It is a little remote so bring your groceries.

Summary: This log cottage was all it claimed to be and more. The peace and quite of the location was wonderful as was the view from the deck. Very clean and well decorated with lots of dishes linens etc. We would highly recommend this place if your looking for a good place to relax and unwind. E & A
