Summary: Slightly tired decor although it is being repainted. Room warm and good size with plenty of tea and coffee and bottled water. Comfortable bed. Friendly welcome and breakfast host was very helpful and friendly. Nice cooked breakfast. Good value.

Summary: Tired hotel, hard pillows/mattress, tepid breakfast, low water pressure in the shower - didn't sleep well at all really but it's fine for a stopover. Had to wait around for 10/15 minutes to get checked in - as there was only one member of staff running the bar and reception (?).
