Positive: We stayed here for a bodybuilding competition at Middleton Arena and it was a great location, only a 5 minute drive or a 20 minute walk. It had aids of shops and takeaways nearby and there was a Tesco Express only a minute walk away. It was a clean, modern and spacious but cosy home. The host was very helpful when I’d contacted him about coming a day early for our stay after booking it. The complementary bottle of wine was a nice touch too. I’d definitely stay here if I was in the area again and I would highly recommend

Positive: I booked this for my family to stay in while they were visiting me and they had nothing but good things to say about it. Communication with the owner was great and they very kindly let them check in earlier. The house had everything they needed and they loved the bee theme running throughout the place. They slept well in the beds and liked that it was close to the train station and Tesco express. Heating, hot water and WiFi were all easy to work and the house was spotless. They will definitely stay here again next time they visit.

Positive: It was clean, spacious and well equipped with everything guests need for a stay away from home. The owner has left lots of essentials in the kitchen, to begin with, like teabags, coffee, and coffee maker, milk, and variety of clean cooking and dining utensils. Tesco express is just a few minutes walk away, and there are supermarkets within few minutes driving distance. The owner responded very well, with our request, straight after booking, before check in.

Negative: Generally, the property is good, except that the wifi and its security was very weak. The sink in the bathroom is small and, we found that a little difficult to use, without splashing water on the floor. There was no mirror in the bathroom, so, shaving was difficult for my son. Also, when we tried to extend our stay, the owner was not welcoming because, he told us that he has sold the property and, a survey was going to take place in the morning of the day after our check out. We thought, normally the survey comes first, not after selling. We also tried to negotiate a late check out, with a fee charge, considering that the check out was early for us, 10am, and we had a lot to clear up after staying there for three weeks, again we were not offered that. He only offered for us to leave our stuff in the hallway, and come back later to collect, which we found not appealing because, we had a six hour gap between our next check in, so, would mean that we would be stranded around Manchester for that duration.

Negative: Mirror in the bathroom would have been a bonus.

Positive: Nothing to not like about this place. Absolutely perfect for us. Clean, tidy all modern fittings. Everything works perfectly ,great shower. Plenty of towels. Bottle of wine and a couple of beers on arrival. The beds were very comfortable we felt a bit spoilt to be honest.
