Enjoy beautiful Chautauqua Lake during your stay at this private Victorian-style lakefront home with six bedrooms and five full baths. Situated on 125 ft of lakefront, this special home features a gourmet chef's kitchen with granite countertops, a double wall oven, seating for eight at a round table overlooking the lake, and seating for six at a breakfast bar.
Adjacent to the kitchen is a room with additional prep space, bar, sink, warming drawer, ice maker, a second dishwasher, and serving ware; Play a game of foosball here during cocktail hour!
Additional entertainment areas include a formal dining room and a spacious great room equipped with a wood-burning fireplace and a panoramic lakefront view. The great room has plenty of seating and offers a game table for six. The media room features a wide movie screen with a laser projection system, a large sectional, and two leather recliners. A bedroom with a king-sized bed and full bath is located off the foosball game room.
Continue your entertainment on the second level with the use of the ping-pong table, sofa, and flat-screen TV. This floor also gives access to five bedrooms; (one being a loft;) two of which overlook Chautauqua Lake. The master bedroom offers a king-sized bed, a sitting area with two leather recliners, and a beautiful bathroom equipped with a steam shower. Each of the bedrooms has a full bathroom.
The best areas are outdoors! Relax on the spacious, wrap-around porch with a comfortable wicker seating area. Enjoy your meals at a large teak dining table on the covered porch rain or shine! Play lawn games in the beautifully landscaped yard or bask in the sun in the chairs by the pool. Cook your food poolside on the Weber grill and keep your beverages close by in the outdoor cooler. Finally, appreciate the gorgeous lake from 18" above the water while sitting on the (four)comfortable Adirondack chairs on the 100 ft. dock!
Please Note that two optional add-ons are available:
1- Heat for the spa and pool. Heating is very expensive, hence we must charge an additional $350 per week for use of the spa and pool combined.
2- Use of a 17' inflatable rib boat.
**The owners have taken great care of this home and continue to maintain the home as they still live here. Every effort has been made to make their guests feel at home. Guests are expected to be respectful of house rules and treat this home as they would their own, or as if the owner were present. No pets are allowed and parties, receptions, or events of any kind are NOT permitted. Failure to abide by these rules will result in the loss of your remaining stay as well as forfeiture of the security deposit. No refund will be given.

Summary: Our 3 generation family enjoyed this home for the second year. We especially enjoyed the huge covered porch facing the lake, the pool and hot tub, en-suite bedrooms, great kitchen, and location within walking distance to a great playground and a nice shopping area. Our host was responsive to our few requests. The house is within 10 minutes to Wegmans, Target, an urgent care office, etc.

Summary: We had an absolutely fantastic stay here for our annual family vacation. We had 6 adults and 6 children (ages 6-16) and there was more than enough room for everyone. The house is beautiful and well kept, it is obvious this is also their family home. The house was well cared for and there was easy accessibilty of things such as towels, linens, beach towels and basic toiletries. The view of the lake, the dock and the huge covered porch allowed us to enjoy Lake Chautauqua any time of day, rain or shine. We had pretty much every meal outside. The pool was a great addition for the kids who swam constantly. The host was easy to contact and left wonderful welcome gifts for us on arrival to welcome us to the area. We truly had a phenomenal stay here and would love to return with our family again.

Summary: Our three generation family enjoyed this incredibly comfortable home and the great amenities available - roomy seating during daily meals on the covered porch, oversized fridge and separate large freezer and ice maker, spotless pool and hot tub, huge TV screen and foosball, well-equipped kitchen, etc!! In addition, our hosts were incredibly prompt responding to our every question or need. Great location for us to “play together” with outings easily available for a few or all of us. Our 5 to 74 year old family had a terrific time together and are looking forward to our 2024 visit!

Summary: Really great place to celebrate our family vacation and the home is outstanding in all aspects save a few minor details. Owners expect renters like us to take care of the premises like it was our own which we liked because if all tenants were to do that the property will stay nice for those future renters and return renters as we will be. The house and grounds are everything the description says it is and then some and would highly recommend for quality renters who appreciate a superb property right on the waterfront. We hope to return for many years to come and many thanks to the owners for a wonderful stay.

Summary: The house is beautiful, as is the setting. It has everything anyone could ask for from a rental. The owners are new at renting, and are really trying to do right by their guests. The outdoor space is incredible, with plenty of seating for relaxing and enjoying the view, and there is a very large table for outdoor dining (we fit 11). We also enjoyed the pool and spa very much. Inside has everything you could need, from a large kitchen to a huge theater screen. The house is clean and modern with many amenities. A really enjoyable visit.

Summary: We had an amazing stay- three families with 6 adults and 6 children. We all had very comfortable rooms with full bathrooms. The house had a scenic view of the lake, with a huge porch and table for us to sit for every meal. Gorgeous pool and hot tub- just perfection. We hope to come back!

Summary: Exceptionally beautiful lakefront home. Very spacious for 8 adults and 4 young children. Bedrooms and bathrooms are large and well appointed. Large spacious porch with super comfortable seating for just hanging and enjoying the lake and eating meals where we spent most of our time. Pool was fun with diving board and basketball hoop for shooting hoops which was an unexpected bonus. In-ground hot tub also spacious - heat easily turned down for young children to enjoy with life jackets. Large interior TV room with comfy seating for movies. Neighborhood nice for walks and there is a park close by with a playground. A phenomenal family vacation spot. If you have young children Midway Park is a must - (our grandkids are 3 years, almost 2 and 1.5 and newborn) they loved it - it had a well maintained putt putt course for older kids and adults. Our first trip to Chautauqua - it is peaceful and lovely area!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. The owners were very helpful to ensure our family trip was memorable. The property was in excellent condition and the pool and spa were the best part of our stay (with the possible exception of the media room! )We hope to create a summer tradition for our family at Grand Lake Haven.
