Positive: Prebendal Manor was all it's cracked up to be: historic, gorgeous, comfortable and quaint. Jane is a lovely hostess, eager to share the history of her family home while making sure her guests are completely comfortable. This is a 'not to be missed' opportunity to experience a bit of British cultural history that is disappearing all too fast.

Negative: That we had to leave.

Positive: Proximity to my family who live in the village. Staying in an older manor was an experience. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good and the company of the owners was appreciated.

Negative: The shower over the bath did not work, even if its sat in the bath it was nothing more than a dribble. Stuck to washing at the sink which I wasnt expecting

Summary: Lovely manor, but we won't be returning.

Positive: Gorgeous historic house, if you love and value old houses with all the charm they bring this is for you. Super friendly, informative and helpful host who took the time to show us around her amazing garden and outdoor space. Breakfast plentiful and high quality. Easy instructions to reach the house with plenty of parking.

Positive: For atmosphere it was unbeatable! It's a beautiful (very very) old manor house with amazing gardens/grounds. However, it's a bit old-fashioned and some people might find it uncomfortable by modern standards. Breakfast was a selection of good quality muesli, yoghurt, toast, fruit etc. Our stay was brilliant.

Negative: Nothing really. If you like old buildings and lovely gardens in a beautiful village then this is for you.

Summary: Fantastic old manor house with lots of atmosphere.
